Patience, passion and perseverance are needed to achieve your potential whether it is achieving at school, university or making it in work or building your own business.
Accept support ~ parents, wise friends, mentors or colleagues who can support you in deciding on your studies, career, or building your business.
Be determined keep focused on your goal to achieve it!
Combat obstacles analyse why they are there and how to overcome these ~ there must be a way, stay positive!
Different more creative approach to achieve your goal.
Expect unfortunate events and struggles but strive to win and be where you wish to be.
Focus on you goal, achievements you wish to make.
There are times when we will feel our adrenaline pumping and may have the flight or fight kick-in which can be dangerous as it could lose the deal or decision we wish to make.
We need to recognise the triggers of when we may feel challenged, out of control. Then we need to take control of those feelings and emotions when our breathing becomes more rapid, blood pressure rises or feel blood pumping faster, sweaty palms or sweating more, thoughts may be more irrational, a feeling of losing power of or in the situation. Then we need to pause, breathe, take a step back from our situation to take control and think as an outsider as then we can resume the power and be in control of ourselves and the situation!
I am reminded of the book and film ‘Divergent’ as this is what divergents are; people who can think outside the normal box and way of dealing with difficulties.
We need to remain in control otherwise we will never get ahead in business or studies.
An analytical approach achieves, so follow these guidelines:
1. Ensure that you get enough Sleep by getting to bed earlier and wake up earlier ~ sleep helps us stay in control and remain calmer in stressful or difficult situations.
It is wise to have phones, computers, electronic devices out of the bedroom; if you are prone to check them or at least have them on silent or off.
2. Protect yourself, draw back, switch off to find a way of switching off and becoming more mindful ~ some people meditate, listen to relaxing music or sounds, play an instrument, gardening, light reading, personally, as a Christian, I pray, read the bible and remember why I am here.
3. Remove what causes you to lean by analysing the nature of precisely who, where, why, what and how it is making your emotions imbalanced, or ’lean’, then make a plan in order to combat it and take control.
There are groups in most areas where we live which give support to people starting up their own businesses – in the U.K. numbers of self-employed of new businesses have greatly increased with funds, mentors, training, resources about laws, safety, guidance and regulations, support locally to enable you to complete this.
